Welcome to the Mediattivo Europe weblog!

This blog will serve as a communication tool among the partners of the Mediattivo Europe Partnership Building Activity, organized by Social Cooperative Grado 16 in Milan (Italy), and co – financed by the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission.

The general objective of this Partnership Building Activity is the creation of a network of European partners having experience in Media Education, or simply in the use of multimedia within youth work – multimedia intended as an educational tool and a tool for the promotion of youth participation to community life – at a local and European level. Its specific objective is that of creating a partnership for the development of International activities focused on the use of multimedia as a tool to promote participation, active citizenship and the right of youth to information, including both access to information and the production of contents.

During a 5 days interactive workshop, 25 participants from 15 organizations of 10 different EU Countries meet in Milan and:
- share experiences and good practices as regards the use of multimedia within youth work
- get in touch with some territorial best practices within Media Education in Youth Work in Milan
- identify project proposals to be jointly developed by the partners
- start the elaboration of feasible project proposals in the perspective of concretely initiating the partnership.
